February Beauty, Hair, and Skincare Favorites

This is my first ever favorites post ever so bear with me a little! I don't have a youtube channel (yet) so I can't add an awesome video but here are some pretty pictures for you to enjoy! Without further ado, here are 10 makeup, hair and skincare items I've been loving for the month of February!

LUSH's R&B Hair Moisturizer
Bleaching your hair really fries it so I've been using a little bit of this hair moisturizer as a leave in conditioner after I shower to tame frizz and make my mane silky soft. I had pretty wild hair even before I started dyeing it pink so imagine how it looks without help from R&B! It's quite heavy for a hair moisturizer so make sure to use it after a shower if you want to try it, it makes a world of difference! Using it dry may weigh your hair down!

Sephora Nail Color in Mermaid to Order

This has actually been a favorite nail polish of mine for a long time now. It also happens to be my granny's favorite too! It's a beautiful metallic blue-green that seems to be different colors in various lighting! The wear is pretty good on it, it'll last about a week but beyond that, chipping will be pretty noticeable. I'm going to keep buying this polish until I'm dead or they discontinue it since I love the color so much!

what the color looks like on...right now anyway! It always looks different in the lighting

Covergirl Lashblast Volume Waterproof Mascara
Lately if I want to wear mascara I keep reaching for this orange tube of lash glory! My lashes become twice as long with a couple coats of this baby and it gives just enough volume without making it look like my lashes are made of clumpy black coal! There is a microscopic amount of clumping if I really want to nit pick but nothing that can't be fixed by a  lash comb! If you're a beginner to makeup, this mascara is perfect to start off with :)

Sephora Medium Shopping Bag Makeup Palette
I don't think you can get this product in stores anymore but it still happens to be a favorite of mine for the month! It has eyeshadows, lipglosses, blushes, bronzers and eye liners all in one! No need to pull out a ton of separate items to do my makeup, I can just grab this case and create fun looks without all the fuss. The quality is pretty good and it's lasted me ages!

The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash

This past month my skin has been feeling less oily and this cleanser probably has had a hand in making my normally overactive sebaceous glands control themselves a little better. I use it on a disposable facial towelette because it doesn't lather very well by itself. Slightly cooling and very refreshing, it's a good wake up call for drowsy mornings.

L'Oreal Revitalift Night Cream

I may have no wrinkles yet but I absolutely love this moisturizer! I use it once a day on my face and neck and it absorbs like a dream! One thing I hate about moisturizers is that they make my skin feel sticky and I have to wait and wait centuries for it to dry. With this one, it lightly moisturizes my skin without being too heavy. The one thing I dislike about this product is the smell. It smells almost like Pez candy mixed with those valentine chalky hearts. It doesn't linger though thank gosh!

Hard Candy Sheer Envy Primer
Move aside Urban Decay because this primer is 100 times more effective! It's made to be a face primer but I use it on my eyelids as an eyeshadow primer. It's pretty much a tube of silicone but boy does it make your eyeshadow colors pop and last all day! The reason you can use it on your eyes is because the ingredients in eye primers and face primers are almost exactly the same! You may be ripping yourself off getting a tiny tube of eyeshadow primer vs a face primer since they work the same! For sure holy grail material, no primer I've tried so far tops this one! Not to mention it's gigantic so I'll not be needing a new one for a long time!

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment
Pricey item but I got mine free for my birthday from Sephora! I'm going to be pretty sad when its used up though because it's such a good little lip balm! I love to wear it under lipstick and gloss. It smells amazing as well! Yum!

Tokidoki Prisma Glosses
I haven't really been using many lip products apart from the Fresh lip treatment but I have worn these lip glosses a couple times and my...they smells divine. Just like blueberry candy! I mostly like wearing them since their fragrances are so delectable but they have pretty good lasting power too. More for shine than color, these glosses make your lips look like glinting ice! They're reddish in the tube but virtually colorless on the lips. Apply a coat of lipstick under this gloss and your lips will look dazzling!

Revlon Custom Creations Liquid Foundation
The great thing about this foundation is that you can change the shade to fit your skin tone! The dial on top tells you what color it will dispense so if you happen to have a tan you can make it darker or if winter paled you out, you can switch it to a lighter shade. It's got a medium to think coverage and has SPF 15 in it. A little goes a long way!

Thanks for reading and ciao for now~!

    1. you don't have to! I think the best thing to do is to use it immediately after you shower. Blow drying it doesn't give your hair time to absorb all the good stuff in the hair moisturizer!
